A JFF Post: Fun with Lawn Fawn

I'm back with another Just For Fun card.  I'm really loving sharing more of these!

For today's card, I pulled out a bunch of new Lawn Fawn goodies and just had fun.  I started with my 3x4 Notebook Paper Die-Namic die cut and just started stamping.
The stamp sets I used were: Home Sweet HomeBelinda's BordersSummertime Charm, and So Much To Say.  That twine is also from Lawn Fawn, part of their trimmings, the Lemon cord.

Hopefully I've inspired you to just go stamp something, anything, just for fun!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Favorites

A few months ago, the Avery Elle Design Team got to talking and thought it would be fun to share a project that uses our favorite Avery Elle stamps from the entire first year, to celebrate Avery Elle's 1st birthday.

Yeah, talk about Mission Impossible.  One single favorite Avery Elle stamp set.  Does that even exist?  I love so many of them that I simply couldn't decide on just one... so you're getting a few from me. :)

To make this card, I stamped the background, leaving an open spot of where I'd put the sentiment and die cut flowers. Then layered it with vellum and stitched the periphery to keep the vellum down.  Finally I stamped the sentiment, from Oh Happy Day clear photopolymer stamp set and flowers again, but this time with the die cuts.

My next card uses a bunch of stamp sets... I will be the first to admit that I simply can't sit down and create a card with just one set.
This card uses the sentiment and speech bubble from Oh Yeah clear photopolymer stamp set, the geometric border is from All Squared Up clear photopolymer stamp set, the arrows are from Air Mail clear photopolymer stamp set and the hearts are from Simply Tags Everyday clear photopolymer stamp set.

Now for something really cool... Papel Picado Banners

When I saw the Papel Picado Banners clear photopolymer stamp set from Avery Elle I gasped with excitement.  Not because I knew exactly what I wanted to do with but because I hadn't seen anything like it!  Confession: I actually had to google Papel Picado to see what it meant... and I found this
Pretty huh!
Oh, and I found this too...

So, that became my inspiration for this...
I love these banners and I can't wait to try something with the coordinating dies!
Fair warning here, I will be doing this...

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

You Rock :)

I'm back and with another just for fun post!  For my card today, I used Neat & Tangled's Sparkle and Shine.  To say I freaked out over this stamp set for the first time would be the biggest understatement ever.  I love every single image in this set.

So lets get to the card, shall we?
To make this card, I stamped both sentiments (I'm totally giggling at you, Ashley) and the diamonds.  To give the diamonds a little color, and because I'm not really a huge coloring person, I just turned the stamps around and stamped with the reverse side of the stamp in the color I wanted them.  I simply stamped them on a scrap paper first to achieve the lighter color.

Then, I added washi tape to the top and bottom to give it a border.  I could have stamped it but I love using up my washi tape stash.  Don't worry, I love this roll of washi tape so much that I bought two.  LOL!  The bakers twine is from The Twinery.  I LOVE their twine!

That glitter paper is a new find and I am in heaven!  It's by DCWV the Cardstock Stack 6x6 pad Glitzy Glitter.  It's amazing!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have an incredible day!

So Happy

Ever get a stamp set you just can't wait to ink up?  Yeah, that's me with solid floral sets... I seriously love them.  Can't get enough of them.  It's an addiction.  I need to go to solid floral stampers anonymous.

So when Wplus9 came out with Fresh Cut Florals my heart skipped a beat.  Maybe even two!  Eek, how awesome is this set?!?!  I could just stare at it for hours... the potential with this set just makes me happy!
I'm giving you fair warning right now that you'll be seeing me pull this set out again!  :)I also got some new Fresh Inks that I couldn't wait to try out!

Thanks for stopping by and having a great day!

Avery Elle & Imagine Crafts Blog Hop

Today is a fun day because Imagine Crafts / Tsukineko & Avery Elle have paired up for a blog hop!  There are going to be a lot of amazing projects on the hop today showing how well Avery Elle and Imagine Crafts / Tsukineko products work together.
I have been having a blast with Tsukineko inks! For the hop, I worked with Ikat Additions.  Both sentiments are actually from Oh Happy Day, too!
For this first card, I used the Tsukineko VersaMagic Chalk ink in Aquatic Splash and Key Lime.  I love these bright colors.

For this card, I found quite possibly my most favorite sentiment ink ever.  It's Tsukineko Brilliance Starlite Black.  It's shiny and just a hint grey.  Oh em gee, I love it!  I used Tsukineko VersaMagic chalk ink in Pretty Petunia and Spring Pansy.
We also have a fun giveaway, so be sure to visit all of the blogs participating.
Emily Lanham
Naghma Husain

A JFF Post: Love you sew much

Happy Monday!  It's been awhile since I shared a just-for-fun (JFF) card... so today, I'm doing just that!
I love using colored card bases and for this card I actually stamped the stitched flower onto the base.   Everything else is paper-pieced with some adorable Lawn Fawn patterned paper.  That yummy twine is Lawn Fawn too!  The stamps are from Paper Smooches Needle Little Love and that great rectangle die is Lil' Inker Stitched Mats

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Modern Leaves

Happy Thursday!  Wow, where did this week go?

It's my day on the Avery Elle blog and I have two cards to share using the new Modern Leaves Clear photopolymer stamp set.  I love these leaves and I love the sentiment font even more!

For my first card, I used the front and back of the same stamp to create this graphic pattern.
For my second card, I used that circle and used the same technique stamping the back of the stamp first.  This time, I stamped it off once and then onto the card with a second generation of the ink. Then, I stamped with the front of the stamp in the original ink color.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
