For You Tag

Hello!  Sorry for popping in a little late, I completely forgot it in the middle of the holiday today!  Be sure to check out the Avery Elle blog!
I used Avery Elle Fabulous Florals stamps and dies to create the floral arrangement, adhered to the Circle Tag die.    I love this in a bright color scheme but also think this would look great modified for the holidays!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Go-to Gal Designer Challenge

It's the last Wednesday of the month and since we've had this planned for months, the Go-to Gals decided to stay true to our word and finish up our Designer Challenge!  Sniffle.

This month, it's all about Neat & Tangled

I have two fun, new projects to share with you here today using Neat & Tangled products.  But first, I thought it would be fun to share images of a few of my favorite Neat & Tangled sets.

First, I used Sailmates and On the Strip to create this card.

Next, I used Punchinella and My Favorite to create this one layer card.

Now it's off to see what the other girls cooked up!

In my life

What do you say when you can when you can't even comprehend the words in your head and the feelings in your heart?

As I've been trying to write this blog post for hours and getting nowhere with it, I keep looking back at how one moment changed my life.

On March 17, 2011 I got my first Project Acceptance Notification from someone named Susan R Opel.  (Yes, I still have that email and it is beyond fitting that I met Susan on one of my favorite holidays!)

Simply put, Paper Crafts magazine changed my life.

As of today, I have no clue how many projects I've sent to Bluffdale for publication.  It's not about the number of projects or the checks that supported this crazy habit of mine, or the feeling of seeing your projects in print.

It's the people.   You have changed my life.

To the Editors,
Thank you.  Thank you for the opportunity and experience to have worked as a Go-to Gal for Paper Crafts/Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine.  I still can't believe you picked me but I am so honored and thrilled that you did!  I have loved every minute of it.  Thank you for the opportunity to meet each one of you in person and actually getting to know you.  Thank you for pushing me and challenging me and all of the happy memories. Thank you for your lasagna and cheese bread.  Thank you for the early morning Starbucks runs.  Thank you for your wit and thoughts.  Thank you.  I wish you all the best in your next chapter and cannot wait to hear about all of the good things to come.  XOXO.

To the Go-to Gals,
You girls.  There are no words.  Speechless.  Love each one of you so much.

Noel

When it comes to Christmas cards, I'm all about keeping my designs something that won't overtake the holidays!  The new Avery Elle Noel set is perfect for this!
Here I stamped the Noel stamp repeatedly in Delicata Golden Glitz ink.  Then, in between the lower two Noels, I stamped the branches, dove, and berries.  I filled them in just slightly with my Wink of Stella Clear glitter brush.  It picks up the color of the pigment inks just enough to do the trick!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Spellbinders Blog Hop

Hello and hooray!  I'm thrilled to be taking part in today's Spellbinders Product Partner Blog Hop for Avery Elle!

Check out the link HERE to see all the fine print and fun amazing details.

Now I have to apologize - because somehow I didn't realize that I should have made Holiday projects since this was the Holiday Blog Hop - Whoops!  My apologies - by the time I realized it, it was simply too late to remake anything so these non-holiday cards will have to do!  Again- whoops!  We'll just say I'm focusing in on the versatility of Spellbinders products and how they can be used year round ;) !

For my first card, I used the Spellbinders A2 Distressed Edges die and turned it on it's side to create the ground of snow for my Avery Elle More Stories fox and bunny.  I love how this turned out.

Next, I thought I used the same Spellbinders A2 Distressed Edges die as it was intended to create this fun masculine card using Avery Elle Surf's Up.

For my last card, I used the Spellbinders Tileworks dies as a panel for my sentiment and surrounded the panel with flowers (sentiment and flowers) from the Avery Elle Fabulous Florals stamp set.  A swap of the sentiment and this would be a gorgeous thank you card for post-Christmas.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
