Hello friends!  Just popping in really quick to share a card I created just for fun!  I love it when I can share just-for-fun cards.  That really needs to happen more often around here. :) I'll try!

I'm loving all the water color artwork I'm seeing everywhere and so when I saw Typically Teen from The Craft's Meow, I had to have it!  I love that it has so many versatile elements all in one set.  I can't wait to play with this set again very soon!  
For the sentiment banner, I stamped the background from Avery Elle's Celebrate and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Mini Blooms.

Two Years

Today is Earth day and that means that it's also the second anniversary of my dad's passing.  He couldn't have picked a more appropriate day to pass from this Earth, as he was truly a creature of nature.  

 

Our relationship was complex to say the least but I respect and appreciate him more and more every day.  Thank you Dad for allowing me to become the person I am.  I am so grateful.

A Purr-fect Birthday

I made this card for a dear friend, it's her birthday today!  I know she got it last night but I can be so proud of myself because I've behaved and waited to post this card on my blog until her actual birthday.  I love Facebook (don't get me wrong!) and I'm sure I'll still post a happy birthday message on her wall, but sending a birthday card to a friend far away is such a treat and a huge surprise these days. 

My birthday card is full of Paper Smooches goodness and totally cracks me up. :) 
I used my favorite cat and a sentiment from Nine Lives and combined him with some balloons from Hullabaloo.  Smiles all around my friends!
