Just for Fun: Reindeer

I've been trying this year to post a little more regularly in the just-for-fun category. It's nice to get in my craft room and just play with both old favorites and new goodies.

This card I used some of my favorite goodies on, the Lawn Fawn polaroid die I simply could not live without.  I stamped the reindeer from  Critters in the Snow once in brown and again in black to give him some shading.  I love this trick!

See that snowy white embossed background?  It's actually from the Sweet Stamp Shop!  It's their Drops Backdrops!  I love how it can be a different take on snow!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Build a Banner

Happy Thursday! I'm popping in to share a card using Avery Elle Build a Banner.   The versatility of this set is what is so great about it and sets it apart from so many other banner sets.
To create this card, I stamped and die cut flowers and leaves from Avery Elle Laurels and the banner I stamped just the inside parts of the banner.  The sentiment is from Avery Elle Petals & Stems

JFF: Huge Thanks!

Happy Monday friends!

I thought it would be fun to start the week out with a very fun, bright, happy, cheery card. :) So I pulled out my Paper Smooches and went to town.
This little elephant from Enjoy the Show hasn't made it off my acrylic block since he arrived.  I always think elephants should be boy-ish but I wanted to give it a feminine twist.

I also went 6x6 paper shopping the other day, I decided I needed a refresh. :) New paper always makes me so happy.  Seriously, there is nothing like a new 6x6 pad to get me in the crafting mood.  What paper crafting product always makes you happy and inspires you?

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday!
