WOOT WOOT!
It's blog hop time! Anyone else excited? You better be!
This is THE issue that I've been dying to see in print. Some of my favorite cards ever are in this issue! The concept alone of this issue just rocks my world!
Here's the entire list of blogs playing along in the hop:
Heather Campbell <-- You're HERE!
What an honor to be included in a hop with such amazing designers! :)
For this hop, we were challenged to create a card with lyrics from a song.
I had so much fun going through my stamps and listening to my iTunes library.
Not going to lie- I loved this challenge.
I feel obligated to admit there was lots of singing and dancing while crafting this card.
Perhaps I can claim creating this card as part of my workout?
This card was actually pretty quick to create, once I settled on a sketch and sentiment (aka lyrics). I stamped the sentiment first to get the perfect placement. Then, I stamped the burst, circles and chevrons to provide a focal point and ground the sentiment. Lastly, the border is actually just washi tape. Easy peasy!
To celebrate the release, thank you to the wonderful team at Paper Crafts Magazine, I have one copy of Paper Crafts 75 Creative Card Challenges to give away!
To be eligible to win, simply comment of this post! You have until
Tuesday, January 15th to comment to win, as I'll announce a winner on
