Avery Elle Release Week - Count On It

Welcome to Avery Elle's November release week!
Hopefully you're having fun and getting excited!

Today, the DT is sharing projects created with the upcoming release Count On It.

I had so many ideas on ways how these numbers could be used and I used them earlier on this week in making this card.

And while I have Christmas on the brain, I decided I better make a birthday card.
For this card, I had the idea of stamping-off the letters to create a DIY stamped background paper but after finishing my first row of stamping I loved it so much I couldn't bring myself to stamp more of them and possibly ruin the CASness of what I had already accomplished.   I love matting a white card on black cardstock, it just 'grounds' everything!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team did too!
Also, Jamie will be sharing her creations on the Avery Elle blog!
Chunyuan Wu will be sharing her creations using Count On It on release day, November 5th!
Now for a contest!!!!
To celebrate release week, Jamie is giving away a $25 credit to the Avery Elle store, www.averyelle.com

Merry Walrus

Since I haven't had a lot of time to play lately, I've been feeling a little rusty so I'm trying to get myself back in the groove...
...and what could help get one out of a crafty slump better than Paper Smooches?

They're just so stinkin' cute!
For my card I decided to pair the walrus from Chilly Chums with the holly from Warm Hearts.  It's suppose to be behind his ear-ish!  This card cracks me up!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Release Week - Lovely Letters

Welcome to Avery Elle's November release week!
Are you excited yet?  Well, you really should be!

Today, the DT is sharing projects created with the upcoming release Lovely Letters.

One of my favorite things about Avery Elle stamps, aside from how they stamp because the quality is amazing, is her sentiments.  The font choice are always just beautiful.  I love them!
Meet Lovely Letters.
Lovely letters is a letter stamp set and all the stamps have been designed so you can line them up and stamp them at once.  I LOVE THAT!
For my card, I cut my snowman shape with my Silhouette and then I stamped my sentiment.  I backed the negative of my snowman die cut with glitter cardstock and then used patterned paper and Avery Elle ribbon for the bow.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team did too!
Also, Jamie will be sharing her creations on the Avery Elle blog!

JJ Bolton will be sharing her creation using Lovely Letters on release day, November 5th!

Avery Elle Release Week - Warm Wishes

Welcome to Avery Elle's November release week!
I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to share this release with you!  Jamie has done an amazing job and I know you are going to love this release just as much as I do!

Today, the DT is sharing projects created with the upcoming release Warm Wishes.

I love so much about this set, but my favorite (as always) are the Avery Elle sentiments and the bow stamp.  Anyone who knows me personally knows I love bows.

For my first card, I paired Avery Elle speckled cardstock with some patterned paper and  created a wreath with the holly, berries and bow stamps.
For Christmas cards, I always like to make sure they are relatively flat so I don't have to fuss with the post office to mail them!

For my next card, I started with the tag and created a subway art feel with some of Warm Wishes sentiments and icons.  Again, it's just got a little dimension, so it should mail easily.
Do you see anything new here?  There's a few new sentiments included in this card that we'll be featuring later on this week.

And that red baker's twine- that's actually from the Avery Elle packaging!  Yup, I save (& use!) all that stuff!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team did too!

Also, Jamie will be sharing her creations on the Avery Elle blog!
Kasia Curry will be sharing her creations using Warm Wishes on release day, November 5th!
