Thanks Thanks

Hey everyone! Today I've got a fun card using the new Thanks Thanks stamp set.

For my card, I decided to stamp the background of the card with the Avery Elle Layered Rose stamp set.

Then, once my background was complete, I added the sentiment from the Thanks Thanks stamp set. Finally, I looped a piece of twine and called it good.

Simple but break taking. Just my style.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Wine bottle tags

Hey everyone! I've got a super fun project over on the Avery Elle blog using both Hooray stamp set and the Party Tags die set.

As soon as I saw the Hooray stamp set and the Party Tags die set I knew I absolutely wanted to make wine bottle tags.

To start, I die cut the larger tag from patterned paper. Then, on vellum I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments. Finally I tied a bow around my wine bottles and then looped my Hooray stamped Party Tags with bakers twine and hid that in the bow.

Super fun and I absolutely can't wait to use this duo for many, many occasions to come!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! Have a great one!

Spooktacular Pals

Hey all! I'm back with another fun card - this time using the new Peek-a-Boo Pals Spooktacular set. My goodness this little Halloween set is just so fun! It just makes me smile so big!
For my card, I stamped and colored in all of the images. Then I die cut them and figured out how I wanted to position them on my card.
Then, I die cut a panel using the Oval Burst die and heat embossed a sentiment on a banner. Finally, I added a layer of super fun (sneak peek!) piece of patterned gradient paper to my card base. Next, and I absolutely LOVE this technique, I added white splatter with a white watercolor. This adds a very distressed starry look. Finally, I assembled my card with dimensional foam.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Have a great one!

Swell

Hey all!  I'm back sharing another card - this time using the new Swell stamp set. I really love this background set that's actually super versatile. It's got a very fun, whimsical feel but also very masculine.

To create my card, I stamped the Swell stamp on some pattern paper with Avery Elle aquamarine ink

Then, I stamped, die cut and colored in the shark and pool floatie from Peek a Boo Summer Pals. Finally I stamped the sentiment (also from Swell) and then tied some Avery Elle cherry twine

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Have a great one!

Pool Party

Hey all! I'm back with a fun card using the super adorable Pool Party stamp set.
For my project I thought it'd be fun to share a little bit of how I created it.
First, I die cut and colored in all of the images I wanted to use from Pool Party. Then, I decided I wanted to mount it on a fun layer. I decided to use the Quilted die in a non traditional way. I thought this would be a fun tip to share. :) I just filled the inside of the opening with dimensional foam and then completely covered it up with images. I love how you can really stretch your stash using this little tip.

Finally, I just assembled the card. Super fun. I cannot wait to give this card away!
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.
Have a great one!

Layered Rose

Hey all! I'm back with a card using the new the Layered Rose stamps and dies.
To create my card, I stamped and layered the ink on the roses. They were so easy to line up it, I was so impressed! Then I stamped the leaves and die cut them.

To assemble my card, I ink blended my card base and added a Wonky Scallop frame. Then I added my flowers, sequins and sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
XOXO,
Heather

Rainbows

Hey everyone! I'm back with a new Rainbows card that's over on the Avery Elle blog. Be sure to check it out there!

For my card, I thought it'd be so fun to paper piece this rainbow with cardstock using the coordinating dies - making it more of a stand alone die. I simply just die cut the rainbow die a bunch of times from all of the different cardstock colors and then pieced it all back together.

I love how you can make it a shaped card too!  SO FUN!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Avery Elle Blog Hop

Hey all! Wootie-woot-woot-WOOT!  It's Avery Elle blog hop day! How excited are you???

For the hop, I'm playing with the new Peek-a-Boo Scary Pals. Oh my gosh, I know I'm a bit biased but I simply LOVE this set. Seriously, the dragon - omg.

Adorable, right? Eep!

So, to my card...
For my card, I tried to cram all of my critters as best as I could. :) I had so much fun coloring each of them in!

I ink blended a background and used the new Plus Frame die to create the frame. Again, eep!!! And the sign for the sentiments - I love this!

OK to the hop!

Avery Elle Market Stand

Hello hello!  How are you all doing today?
I'm so excited to be here sharing my latest card using the new Market Stand stamp set.  Don't you jut love this market stand?  It's so fun, especially with the Peek-a-Boo Pals line.

For my card, I thought it'd be fun to share how I add a pattern to the base of the market stand.
First, I took post it notes and placed them strategically along the stamped line of my die cut image.  Then, I stamped the inner images.

As you can see, once I remove the post it notes, the lemons are perfectly masked and appear as part of the lager set. I love using accessory images in just this way!
There you have it!  Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!  Have a great one!

For my card, I decided to put the beautiful flowers on it with the great sparkler candles.
I dabbed different ink colors onto the sparklers to make them appear multicolor!

Avery Elle - Easter Chicks

Hey everyone! I'm back sharing my latest card using the new Easter Chicks stamp set.

These Easter Chicks are just too fun and it's such a cute little set.  I also love how they're totally versatile and work for way more than just Easter.

To create my card, I stamped and die cut each of the chicks and butterflies.  Then I colored them in and added some sweet gel pen accents.  Then I heat embossed and die cut the banner from Banner Bits. Finally, I die cut my layers using the new Quilted Framecover plate die.

Such a sweet little grouping of chicks.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!

Peek a Boo Pals

Hey everyone! I'm so thrilled to be here today because I get to share one of my favorite cards I've ever made.
I'm having so much fun with the Peek-a-Boo series and these Peek-a-Boo Pets are just too much fun.

To create my card, I stamped and die cut the pig, sheep, cow and chick (omg, that chick!!!) and their coordinating feet/wings.  I also stamped and die cut the sentiment bubbles and stars.  I colored them in and set them aside.  To work on the card base, I ink blended a background and then adhered some clouds from Photo Mat.  I used the Oval Burst die to create a mat and then just popped the images behind it.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!  Have a great one!
XOXO, Heather

All of Us

First of all, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!  If I had realized when I made this card it'd be posting on Valentine's I probably would have changed the theme of this card.  But I didn't so you get birthday instead! :)

For my post today, I'm playing with the new Avery Elle All of Us stamp set.  When I was designing this set, I loved the idea of it so I'm thrilled it's here and now I get to see it come to life.
To create my card, I stamped and die cut 2 rows of cats.  I colored them in having so much fun replicating just about any cat color combo I could think of.  Then, I stamped and die cut 2 of the sentiment and some party hats.

I love how you can pop the sentiments up on these signs the animals can be holding. It puts a fun spin on it. :) I created a shaker using some sequins and accented it with the Avery Elle course glitter

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.  Have a great one!
