Paper Smooches Sparks October Cool Shades

It's time for this week's Paper Smooches Sparks challenge. 

This is also my last card for my term on the Paper Smooches sparks design team.  
I am so sad.  It has been an absolute blast.  Thank you to Kim and Savannah, as well as the rest of my fellow sparks dt members for this term.   

Anyways, to the sparks challenge.  
The third week of the month is the Cool Shades color challenge!

I couldn't wait to play with my latest Paper Smooches delivery!  That last release HAD TO BE MINE!  Don't you love it when that happens!  

For this card, I used the christmas lights from All Yule Need and paper-pieced them with some adorable patterned papers.  After looking at it again, I guess I went a little more yellow than orange-ish but oh well...  The sentiment is from Joyful Greetings!

I have been having fun layering my die cuts so I totally went with that and paper-pieced my alligator from Zoo Crew!  The sentiment is from Sentiment Sampler.  Then I just went to town layering fun shapes.

Paper Smooches Sparks September Trend Watch

It's time for this week's Paper Smooches Sparks challenge.

I had SO much fun creating this weeks card.  Hello Retro! 

I totally had to grab my Squeaky Clean set for this week.  I'm not a huge ironing fan.  I love wrinkle free.  We own an iron and use it maybe once a year only for heat transfer projects. :)  Therefore, I made this iron retro fab!

Here's my card: 

Lots of my favorite patterned papers (there are SO many great 6x6 pads out right now, I'm in heaven!), some adorable washi tapes, a handmade button, bakers twine and a white gel pen again.  Sigh, this card makes me happy!

Paper Smooches Sparks August Trend Watch

It's time for this week's Paper Smooches Sparks challenge.

YAY for travel themed!  I looked through my stash but really was drawn to some patterned paper I've been hoarding and ultimately couldn't get away from it! 

Here's my card: 

I kept the patterned paper for the base of my card and layered some kraft cardstock on top.  I paper pieced the globe and heart with cardstock and drew faux stitching with my white gel pen.  

I used the following Paper Smooches stamps:

I just got Space Cadet (here) a few weeks ago and I just had to use it for this challenge!  

I decided not to color the martian in at the last minute and just went with the rhinestones instead.  Sometimes it's so fun to do something a little more unpredictable, ya know...

Paper Smooches Sparks July Trend Watch

I was really inspired by the red and white and even the little bit of black in the logo/title.

I also went with the food theme too!

I trimmed some patterned paper and cardstock and then masked the ant to stamp the watermelon.
