Today, I've got a card on the Avery Elle blog - be sure to head there to check it out!
Oh my gosh I'm excited to be here playing with the new Windmill stamp set. This set is so much fun to play with. There are so many bits and pieces which really allow you to customize your own little scene. My favorite little images have to be the bugs. Eep - so cute!
To create my card, I ink blended my background of clouds and grass using a stencil I created with Picket Fences dies. Then I stamped, colored and die cut all of the different elements to create my scene.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Have a great one!

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a fantastic day!
I'm continuing the new Essentials by Ellen release hop fun and have a card to share! You should have arrived here from Julia Stainton's blog. If you just got here and haven't hopped, head to the classroom to start!
The latest release in the Essentials by Ellen line is absolutely amazing! Oh my gosh, it's so fun and festive! Who doesn't love to celebrate?!?!
For my card, I am playing with the new YAY dies! I die cut the balloons and stars and sponged distress ink onto them to create a very light and airy effect! For the letters, I left them white to create a fun tone-on-tone effect. I adhere all the layers back together and created a fun card perfect for any recipient!
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Oh my gosh I love this set soooo much! Something about clouds just makes me happy!
To create my card, I stamped a background using Sea Glass and Mermaid ink. Then I die cut a frame from the Large Pierced Scallops dies and popped my frame up on foam. Finally I stamped and die cut the heart balloon and string from Love Is In The Air and then stamped, die cut and colored in the birds to pop them all up on foam.
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with us here!
Hello! Posting a card here that was on the Avery Elle blog earlier this week. I'm otterly excited to be here today sharing my fun otter card and I've even got a video for you today too! Here's the video sharing how this card came together. I also shared my favorite technique for using the die that cuts the otters hands out so he can hold the shell!
I love these balloons so much. Really, I find a great balloon stamp super versatile so I was thrilled to see this set. I paired the balloons with a sentiment from Big Greetings stamp set.
To create the inked effect for these balloons, I simply dabbed only the edges of the balloons in the ink leaving much of the inner part of the balloon stamp un-inked. I love how this technique works with balloons by creating the perfect airiness!
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me. Have a great one!
Hello, hello! Welcome to the Ellen Hutson 11th Anniversary hop!
You should have arrived here from Jessica Frost-Ballas' blog!
For the hop, we all got to play with our favorite Essentials by Ellen set. Of course, for mine, I had to play with Hearth & Home. This set was released in the very first Essentials by Ellen release and it's a set that I just keep going back to - especially the dies!
To create my card, I ink blended distress ink onto white cardstock. Then, I simply die cut my shapes. I love how this creates a soft variation in color across the cuts! To create my snowy background, I ink splattered with white watercolor on kraft cardstock. Then, I just heat embossed the chimney smoke and added the sentiment to another die cut.
Hey hey y'all! I'm over on the Avery Elle blog today sharing a card and wanted to share it here too! This week we're continuing the fun with Modern Calligraphy. For my card, I decided to personalize my card with the recipient's name.
The individual letters were super easy to line up and I love how it looks like I wrote it myself! I love the versatility of this set - it really allows you to create any sentiment you could possibly want!
I stamped the flowers and a few add ons to create the floral arrangement at the top. Then I colored everything in with my Copics.
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day here!
You should have arrived here from Caryn Davies' blog. If you didn't, be sure to start at the Avery Elle blog for the hop!
For the hop, I got to play with the new Cool Beans stamp set.
Ack, coffee! Who doesn't love coffee? I can tell you I'll be getting a ton of use out of this set for holidays and birthdays and thank you and anything and everything I can use the sentiment cool beans. Ack, I love!
For my project, I kept it pretty clean and simple. I stamped the mug, sentiment and some coffee beans. Then I die cut and colored them in to position on the card.
I love how the dies for this set come with a stitched steam die. Eep, I think that's just too fun.
Thank you so much for stopping by and hopping with us! Have a great day!

Hello sweet friends!
I'm back with a fun card for the latest Essentials by Ellen release! Wahoo! I love me some Ellen releases!
If you stumbled here first, head to the Classroom to start the hop! Otherwise you should have come here from Julie Ebersole's blog!
Now to the project - let's get to the super good stuff, shall we?
I used the new Photo Lady Leading Ladies stamp set. I love her and all of her little accessories - those cameras - LOVE!
I thought it'd be super fun to pair my photo lady with her BFF cozy lady! I figured since the photo lady is such a shutterbug, it'd be fun to create a card of her snapping a selfie! I colored a background with my Copics - which was SUPER fun and way easier than I thought it would be! To create the polaroid frame, I just trimmed my colored scene into a square and then mounted it onto white cardstock - which I then just trimmed to look like a polaroid. Easy peasy and super fun! The background I creating by stamping my favorite kraft ink onto a kraft card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Welcome to another great United We Flourish celebration! This month, Ellen has partnered with My Favorite Things to bring you the super adorable Good Friends stamp set.
Check it out!!!
Here's the card I created with it!
I love this dog so much that I just had to use it frolicking across the hills on a sunny day! I created an ink blended background with distress inks and used dies to create my stencils. The doggy I colored in with colored pencils and gamsol.
To see the rest of the fabulous projects, just head back to the classroom!
Thanks for stoping by and sharing part of your day with me!
You should have arrived here from the wonderful Donna Mikasa's blog. In case you just stumbled upon the hop, be certain to start at the Classroom blog so you don't miss a stop!
Like so many, my family has been directly affected by breast cancer. I've lost two aunts to breast cancer so this hop really does mean a lot to me.
For today's hop, we're all playing with the Courage stamp and die set. In case you missed the original release of this stamp, for each stamp/die set purchased, $25 will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Here's my card:
While I'd much prefer to never have to give this card, sadly, until there's a cure - I still am faced with way too many instances where I'm having to give cards like this. This set is as beautiful as it comes.
I stamped and die cut all of the images. For the ribbon, I used my distress inks to create an ombre ribbon. Then, I stamped a lovely sentiment.
Hello everyone!!! I've got a card on the Avery Elle blog today but am also sharing it here!
Today I'm playing with the new Sledding Critters stamp and die set today! I love this little stamp because it's relatively easy and already pre-assembled but there are so fun elements that you can add to your sleigh and tree that make it a lot of fun!
To create my card, I colored and die cut the sleigh, string of Christmas lights and the reigns for the sleigh (hint: the curved line that's in this stamp is the designed to be the reigns of the sleigh!) I added the circles to the tree to make them into ornaments!
Then, to create my background, I used the new Winter Borders die to cut the dots for the snow and the trees for the background. I stamped my sentiment on the banner is from Wonky Stitches and popped up all of the images on some dimensional foam. Then, to top if all off, I added some Citrus twine to the top of my card!
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! I hope you have a great day!

Today, I'm playing with the new Leading Ladies - Baker Lady stamp set. I love love love these ladies and this baker is just too cute! That pie - it has my heart!
For my card, I stamped and die cut my baker lady and a bunch of the bowls and add on images - seriously how cute are these lil' bits and pieces to play with?!?! Then, I colored everything in with Copics and positioned everything with dimensional foam.
For the hop - your next stop is the fabulous Carissa Wiley! You can find the entire hop order below!
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! Have a great one!
It's hard to see but I colored in around the flowers with my lightest blue Copic ink. Then, I gradually faded the colors so the bottom of the tag is white!
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! Have a lovely day!
Eep! I'm so excited to share today's card with you. It's also on the Avery Elle blog too!
Today's card features the gorgeous new Holiday Bouquet stamp set!
I love love love the look of elegant flowers heat embossed on vellum! This trick is a good one and works well for mass production!
To create my card, I first stamped and heat embossed the images on the vellum. Then, on the back side, I colored them in with my Copics! Super easy and it totally has the "wow" factor!
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Hey everyone!!! I've got a card on the Avery Elle blog today with the new Brring On The Joy stamp set! These penguins absolutely crack me up and I just love all the elements that accompany these skating penguins!
You can see the entire card making process in the video below!
I don't normally share videos of the entire card making process but just couldn't resist here! :) What'd you think? Did you like the Copic colors listed in the video???
Hey everyone! I've got two cards over on the Avery Elle blog that I wanted to share with here! This week the Avery Elle blog is introducing with the new Bewitching stamp set and coordinating dies.
Have you stopped by to check it out???
First, I used the Bewitching witch and made her the star of the show in a spooky ink blended night sky! The houses, moon and clouds are die cut from the new Cityscapes die. The frames is from the Scalloped Pierced Rectangles die.
I added a good amount of sparkle to her cape and hat. I love adding details like this!
Since I had all of the images from Bewitching stamped and ready to go, I decided to create one more card with the ghosts! I had the hardest time choosing which face to put on my ghost but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
I used the Cityscapes die to create a city in the background and then added the path to show the trail to the spooky city in the night. I'm not exactly sure which of the dies in this Cityscapes die set is my favorite - because I know I'm going to get a lot of use of that city die... but... I love these stars! I simply added yellow behind the cardstock to create colorful stars.
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
For the hop, I thought it would be fun to create a video to share some of the fun things you can do with this set.
Now to the projects! (Yes, I made 2!)
I could play with these stamps for hours!
To start, I used both of the trees on the same side and I've flipped one of the trees like I showed in the video. Then, I've tucked them behind a snow drift created with the Picket Fences dies. The starry snow background is from the new Cityscape die.
So cute and sweet! :)
Here I'm using the bear and have some of the ornaments hanging down which are catching his eye. This bird. I'm obsessed.
Let's be honest, I'm just obsessed with every image in this set. :)
Next up, time to get hopping'! Your next stop is Yainea's blog!
What's a hop without a prize???
