Joy to the World

Happy almost-December!  Where did this year go?  Seriously, it has flown by!
Just popping in to share a quick card that I made just for fun!
It uses Paper Smooches All Yule Need (here) and some of paper piecing.  I'm still loving my washi tape too!  :) It's amazing how fun and easy it is to add it to a card once you get started with it!  Seriously, just give it a try!  The best part is, if you fuss on placement of it just like me, it peels off and repositions incredible easy!

Hope all is well and thanks for stopping by!

For the blog hop, we were asked to create a card die cutting something other than cardstock/paper.  I've had this cork for longer than I'd like to admit so I decided it was finally time to put it to use.

I paired the cork up with the clip and some of the latest Paper Smooches stamps!  :) As it turns out, it's pretty easy to stamp on cork. Fun!

Holiday Cheer

Just popping in to share another fun Paper Smooches card.
Are you sick of this snowman yet?  You better not be because I've got a few more cards with him coming!  :)

I'm enjoying just playing with my stamps!  It's so relaxing and I'm excited to have a stash for cards to give away.  Fact: I don't make my own Christmas cards to send out in the mail.  I generally order photo cards... but I do give out handmade cards with cookies to the neighbors & friends.  So, that redeems me- right? I could see giving this card with some hot cocoa mix... YUM!

The snowman and his yummy coffee/cocoa are both from Warm Hearts and the sentiment is from Christmas Sampler.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Shopping list:
Paper Smooches: Warm Hearts, Christmas Sampler
Dies: PTI In the Meadow, Pinking Border Die.

Avery Elle 10 Minute Craft Dash

Avery Elle is sponsoring this weeks 10 minute craft dash!
Super fun!

I'm generally a slow poke but since I just got some new washi tapes in the perfect colors I knew exactly what I wanted to do!  :)
The speech bubble and sentiment is from Picture It by Avery Elle.  I love this set.  Well, I love all her sets. :)  I also used Avery Elle Ultra Smooth Pure White and Kraft cardstock.  If you haven't tried Avery Elle cardstock, you must!  It's seriously the best I've found.

Be sure to check out what Jamie and the rest of the Avery Elle DT has for you too!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Season's Greetings Snowman

Have you ever gotten a stamp set and then you literally couldn't put it down?
Yeah, that happens to me.  Once, sometimes twice, a month when my latest Paper Smooches delivery arrives.   I'm a little behind as a result of the move but I'm getting caught up.  :)

This little egg-y snowman cracks me up.  I LOVE HIM.  He makes my heart skip a beat.  Everything about him is absolutely perfect.
So, I paired him with some festive paper and some of my favorite background stamps.

When was the last time you just sat down to play?
Gosh, for me- it had been awhile.
IT FEELS SO GOOD!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Release Week - Merry & Bright

Welcome to Avery Elle's November release week and today is RELEASE DAY!
It's all there in the Avery Elle store so go on and have some fun!

Today I am sharing my projects for the new Merry & Bright set.

I cut this tree on my Silhouette and decided to use the 'bright' sentiment to show off an unconventional Christmas tree.

After making my first card, I decided it was a cool concept to stamp that merry stamp and use it as a negative space background paper.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you on their blogs too!
Also, Jamie will be sharing everything on the Avery Elle blog!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Release Week - Count On It

Welcome to Avery Elle's November release week!
Hopefully you're having fun and getting excited!

Today, the DT is sharing projects created with the upcoming release Count On It.

I had so many ideas on ways how these numbers could be used and I used them earlier on this week in making this card.

And while I have Christmas on the brain, I decided I better make a birthday card.
For this card, I had the idea of stamping-off the letters to create a DIY stamped background paper but after finishing my first row of stamping I loved it so much I couldn't bring myself to stamp more of them and possibly ruin the CASness of what I had already accomplished.   I love matting a white card on black cardstock, it just 'grounds' everything!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team did too!
Also, Jamie will be sharing her creations on the Avery Elle blog!
Chunyuan Wu will be sharing her creations using Count On It on release day, November 5th!
Now for a contest!!!!
To celebrate release week, Jamie is giving away a $25 credit to the Avery Elle store, www.averyelle.com

Merry Walrus

Since I haven't had a lot of time to play lately, I've been feeling a little rusty so I'm trying to get myself back in the groove...
...and what could help get one out of a crafty slump better than Paper Smooches?

They're just so stinkin' cute!
For my card I decided to pair the walrus from Chilly Chums with the holly from Warm Hearts.  It's suppose to be behind his ear-ish!  This card cracks me up!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Release Week - Lovely Letters

Welcome to Avery Elle's November release week!
Are you excited yet?  Well, you really should be!

Today, the DT is sharing projects created with the upcoming release Lovely Letters.

One of my favorite things about Avery Elle stamps, aside from how they stamp because the quality is amazing, is her sentiments.  The font choice are always just beautiful.  I love them!
Meet Lovely Letters.
Lovely letters is a letter stamp set and all the stamps have been designed so you can line them up and stamp them at once.  I LOVE THAT!
For my card, I cut my snowman shape with my Silhouette and then I stamped my sentiment.  I backed the negative of my snowman die cut with glitter cardstock and then used patterned paper and Avery Elle ribbon for the bow.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team did too!
Also, Jamie will be sharing her creations on the Avery Elle blog!

JJ Bolton will be sharing her creation using Lovely Letters on release day, November 5th!
