Welcome Little One

Hello!  I love a great background set - they're so versatile and add that little touch of something extra to a card.
This card is on the Avery Elle blog today.  I stamped and masked everything on this card and then stamped the security check from the Avery Elle Woodgrain & More.  The duck, laurels and sentiment are from Storybook and the banner is from Build a Banner.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing a part of your day with me!  Have a great day!

Go-to Gals Designer Challenge: DCWV

Hello!  It's the last Wednesday of the month  - you know what that means?  It means it's time for a Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine Go-to Gal Designer Challenge and this month it's all about DCWV!

I love a great patterned paper so DCWV is so fun for me to work with.
First, I made these fun chalkboard cards.  Simple but very effective!

I used their 12x12 chalkboard paper and ran it through my bigshot.  It cut like butter!  Then, I mounted them on some patterned cork.  Super cool.
It didn't seem right that I focus on patterned paper and not paper piece an adorable little scene. So I pulled this cute card together.
All the papers in this card (with the exception of the cardstock) come from THIS 6x6 Basics pad.
Now it's off to see what the other Go-to Gals have cooked up with DCWV

Heather Campbell <-- That's me!

The fabulous Betsy Veldman had to take this month off but check out her blog anyways as she always has great inspiration for you!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

JFF: Hi Friends!

Hello friends and Happy Memorial Day! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
I have a just-for-fun card that I've been wanting to share!
I stamped the Lawn Fawn fox and paired him with a banner and sentiment from Mama Elephant.  The background patterned paper is from DCWV!  Lots of cuteness here.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Thanks!

I've been having all sorts of fun in my craft room lately with my new Chickaniddy gold foil paper.  It completely inspired me to create this card.
I used my Lil' Inker Designs Darling Diamonds stamp set, my watercolors and my Wink of Stella clear glitter brush.

Brushed

Hello!  This card was up on the Avery Elle blog yesterday but something happened to my post and it scheduled a day late.  Guessing that something was human error.  Whoops!

Happy Friday!  TGIF!

I used the new Avery Elle Brushed and my Avery Elle pigment inks to create a rainbow striped panel.  I stamped a sentiment, also from Brushed, and accented the sentiment with enamel dots and hexagons cut from Custom Panels dies.
I simply covered them in Glossy Accents to create my own faux enamel dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
