Tons of Hearts

Hey all! I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

I'm over on the Avery Elle blog today.  I'm ready to break out the Valentine's stamps and play!  Woot!
To create my card, I first stamped, colored and die cut the images from Party Pals

Then, I die cut the Tons of Heart panel and mounted it on a square card base.  Finally, I adhered everything together and finished the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.
XOXO,
Heather

Cacti - Stuck On You

Hey all! Today I'm back with a card using the adorable mini, Stuck On You!

To create my card, I thought it would be fun to use the adorable cacti to create a background pattern and use them to frame a sentiment.

First I stamped a sentiment, from the new And Then stamp set.  Once that was stamped, I stamped all of the cacti and hearts and colored it all in.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!  Have a great one!

Peacock Valentine

Hey all!  I'm late posting this card.  Ack!  It was on the Avery Elle blog last week - but you know what - better late than never!

Today I've got a card using the new Peacock stamp set.

To start I ink blended a background and die cut a panel using the new Embellished Heart die

Then, I stamped the peacock with Avery Elle New Moon ink and die cut it out.  I adhered everything together and then finally added a sentiment coated heavily in glossy accents.  Lastly, I added some color coordinating gems.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
XOXO,
Heather

Avery Elle Three Hearts Die

Hey everyone!  I'm back continuing the fun using the new Three Hearts die over on the Avery Elle blog.

For my card today, I thought it'd be really fun to create a shaker with this die!
First, I die cut the card front panel with the Three Hearts die.  Then, I ink blended a background and created everything to create my shaker.

I used the adorable cactus from Stuck On You. I had so much fun coloring these images in!  I assembled my shaker using sequins that coordinated colors with the cactus.  Finally, I finished it off with hearts and sequins!

A Merry Little Christmas

Hey everyone!

Today I'm sharing a project over on the Avery Elle blog using the new A Merry Little Christmas stamp set. I absolutely love this set. So much. All these critters just make my heart skip a beat.

For my project, I first stamped, die cut and colored in all of the images from the A Merry Little Christmas stamp set. I had so much fun coloring each of these guys in!

Then, I die cut a panel using the new Let It Snow die. On my card base, I inked blended a background and then stamped/heat embossed my sentiment before adhering the Let It Snow layer. Finally, I finished it off by adhering all of my animals together to make a scene!

Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals

Hey all!  I'm over on the Avery Elle blog with a fun card using the new Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals stamp and die set.

I don't know about you but I'm loving the Peek-A-Boo Pals series.  These little critters are just too much fun to play with!

To create my card, I stamped and die cut the critters and their coordinating hooves/paws/wings.  I also stamped and die cut some of the add on accessories.  Then, I colored everything in and on the bulbs around my moose, I added glitter and glossy accents.

To assemble, I ink blended a background and then popped that behind a snowdrift which I mounted underneath a Wonky Scalloped Frames die. Finally, placed all of the images and stamped a sentiment and mounted it onto a A2 card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!

Merry Merry

Hey all!  I'm back with another project over on the Avery Elle blog - this time using the new Merry Merry stamp set.
I had so much fun with this sentiment set.  I started out by heat embossing my sentiment on an ink blended background.
Then, I added a snowdrift and a bunch of mice from the A Merry Little Christmas stamp set.  Oh my gosh these mice.  I LOVE THEM!

I also created this very graphic card just by stamping the sentiments together in different colors and popping it on top of a piece of patterned paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!  Have a great one!

Snow Tags

Hey everyone!  I'm over on the Avery Elle blog today sharing a project I created with the new Snow Tags stamps and coordinating dies!
I heat embossed the snowflakes with Avery Elle white embossing powder and then die cut them out of the cardstock.  I then stamped the snowman from Christmas Magic and colored and die cut them.  The sentiments were heat embossed as well and cut apart to create more of a label look.

On top of each snowflake, I used the new Wonky 3D Bow die to add a topper to each snowflake.  I love these wonky bows so much!   The twine is all Avery Elle too.  Best. Twine. EVER!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.  Have a great one!

Avery Elle Fall Release Blog Hop

Hey everyone!  Welcome to the Avery Elle Fall 2018 Blog Hop!  Wahoo!

You should have arrived here from the fantastic Caryn Davies' blog.  Otherwise, head to the Avery Elle blog to start from the beginning or if you get lost along the way!

As always, I'm so excited for this release.  This release is full of fantastic holiday sets with a little bit of everything.  I honestly cannot pick a favorite. Good problem to have, right? :)

For the release, I played with two sets from this release - Christmas Magic and Starry Scene.  Christmas Magic is a great whimsical, 3x4 mini set complete with a Christmas unicorn!  Starry Scene is a really cool stamp set designed perfectly for creating stamped backgrounds.  I've had this design in my head for so long so I'm very excited to finally see it come to life!

To create my card, I stamped the starry background with Avery Elle Seaglass ink.  Tip - if you're struggling with ink coverage - you can always ink it up with Versamark ink first and then ink with your colored ink!

I stamped, die cut and colored all of the images from Christmas Magic (oh my goodness - this unicorn is my favorite!!!) and then adhered everything to my card with dimensional adhesive.  Finally, I added a sentiment and added some glossy accents, sequins and some bakers twine!

Next stop on the hop - head to Yainea's blog!

Sweetest

Hey everyone! I've got a card on the Avery Elle blog today using the new Sweetest stamp set and coordinating dies.
To create my card, I stamped, die cut and colored in the images from Sweetest.  Then, I die cut the medium size frame from Wonky Scalloped Frames.   Behind the frame, I tucked a piece of patterned paper from the Sorbet Collection of Avery Elle 6x6 paper pads.
I tied a bow using Aquamarine twine and then stapled it to my card. Then, assembled everything on top.

Peek-a-Boo Pals

Hey everyone! I'm over on the Avery Elle blog today sharing these cards using the new Peek-a-Boo Pals stamp set.
This stamp set is SO fun!  I loved coloring each of the images in and then die cutting them out and playing with all of the options for positioning them.

For my first card, I used Wonky Scallops and created a frame to have my peek-a-boo pals peeping out from behind.  I love the star accents and had fun adding accents to the party hats.

For my second card, I used the smallest Wonky Scallops to create what I envision are hanging picture frames.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!  Have a wonderful day!

Painted Backdrops

Hey hey!  I've got a card using the new Painted Backdrops stamp set over on the Avery Elle blog today!
I love this Painted Backdrops set because it makes getting the look of something painted or stencil behind an image so much easier than doing the real thing!  A stamp creates the perfect end result every time!  What's not to love?!?! :)

For my card, I stamped the circle in Sea Glass ink.  Then, I stamped, die cut and colored in the puffer fish and party blower from the Sea-Prise stamp set.  Before I assembled the card, I die cut the panel using Wonky Stitches and stamped the background fish and sentiment.  Finally I accented it all with some sequins and mounted it on my card base!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.  Have a great day!
