Happy Bee-day!

How fun is this!  I couldn't wait to get my hands (and some ink) on the Hero Arts Be Happy set!  I am obsessed!  I've had this sketch done ever since i ordered it and HURRAY it finally came yesterday!  Glossy accents on the middle of the flower and on that adorable bee!  Sentiment is from Paper Smooches Birthday Buddies!

Wear Something Cute

I love this set for so many reasons and was SO excited to see it go digital!  YAY!  I love my Digi stamps!
The dress and clothespins and line are from the Hero Arts digi set "the Line" at twopeas (here) and the sentiment is a Pink Petticoat sentiment that I modified to make work with the dress!
Really simple but fun!
Thanks for looking!

Monster Hi

I was SO excited to see this week's Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World, a Citrus Celebration.

I didn't exactly have the same shade of Lime Green so I used the closest thing I had.  I might have to try again because I love this one so much!  :) We'll see...  Either way, isn't this My Cute Stamps monster SO cute!!!

Lion Baby

I saw this Lion by Pink Petticoat and HAD to have him!  I am loving the digital stamps and getting better with my printer and figuring everything out!  I printed him out on kraft and again on white and colored him in on the white with my copics.  I used some glossy accents on his nose and covered the crown with glitter!

I thought he'd be fun for a baby boy card, for the little prince!
So much fun!  Thanks for looking!

Ice Cream Birthday

When I saw the Hero Arts stamp set Life of the Party I knew I wanted to do something really fun with it!  I wasn't sure if this was intended to be cotton candy or ice cream but I decided to cover it in Glossy Accents and smear it with my finger to give it a ridgy ice cream look! mmmmm!   Paired it with some fantastic My Mind's Eye and Cosmo Cricket paper!  LOVE!

Birthday Birds on a Wire

When I saw the Birds on a Wire digikit by Hero Arts, my heart skipped a beat!  I adore birdies!  Have I mentioned that?
I created a digital background that says 'Happy Birthday to a tweet friend!" and then added some balloons to make them a little more birthday and paired it with a PTI sentiment, Tiny Treats Birthday.  Links and more to follow, it's late and I'm exhausted!

Cityscape Scooter

When I saw the Moxie Fab World Cityscapes are on the Rise challenge, I knew I wanted to participate!

The cityscape background was stamped with My Cute Stamps Eek! A Monster.  I debated on the main image for the card... but when I think cities, I think SCOOTERS!  and what a better scooter than Paper Smooches Spiffy Scooters!  Lots of paper piecing and some Copic marker coloring and tada!

Birthday Wishes

Having fun with Hero Art digital stamps!
I printed the sundae on PTI paper then cut everything out and paperpieced it all together to create this super yummy ice cream sundae!  Glossy Accents to top it off!   I love clean and simple and I just thought this was absolutely stunning!

Missing You!

I had so much fun making this card, and I gotta admit there are a few more in this same theme coming... They are either still in pieces or still in my head, but they are coming!
For this card, I used all of the flowers from the My Cute Stamps Pouty Petals set.  I adore it!
For the missing flower I just used the stem from one of the flowers and stamped it 3 times, so that each of the flowers would have different stems.  Clean and simple, but I love it!!!

I'm entering this one in the Moxie Fab stamping with markers challenge.   I colored everything in with my Copics.  Have I mentioned I love my Copics?

Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!

Pouty Petals

I've come to realize that I really adore My Cute Stamps!  They are so whimsical and fun, yet completely adorable!  This little flower is from the new Pouty Petals set, which I absolutely heart!
I knew I had to ink this little one up, since my delivery came just yesterday, and was completely inspired by the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger colors!  My little flower turned out a little brighter than the colors in the Moxie Fab one...  but she's just SO cute I still had to participate!
I pleated and stitched the ribbon myself, and I wanted to make it imperfect, to match the whimsy of my flower - so the imperfection was intentional!  I used one of Jane's buttons, yay!  and some Divine Twine, yay!  Colored her in with Copics and some Stickles/Glossy Accents.  Can you hear me singing "These are a few of my favorite things"?  ...because I am!

Thanks so much for looking!

Birthday Worm for Ashley

My good friend Ashley introduced me to Paper Smooches and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these stamps!  She offered to let me borrow hers anytime but it turns out that we both are so smitten with these stamps that we couldn't bare to share them...  Keep in mind, we live probably 5 minutes away!   Anyways, I had to have the Birthday Buddies set and this worm both made us laugh till it hurt!  He's so stinkin' cute!  I told Ashley the first card I made with my new Paper Smooches delivery would be with this worm and for her!   I should add that it's not her birthday, but I just had to use the matching sentiment!   Many more Paper Smooches cards to come!

The sentiment is from Hero Art's ClearDesign Friends set.

Polka Dot Birthday Bird

Isn't this bird just too fun!  I gotta say, I am in love with the Hero Arts DigiKit, Happy Bird Day!
I used some digital paper (by Katie Pertiet) to fill in the bird and colored the rest of the image in with Copic markers.  I used Glossy Accents for the frosting and then I layered everything together with some My Mind's Eye and Pinecone Press patterned papers.
