Go-to Gal Designer Challenge: Winnie & Walter

Hip hip hooray!  It's Designer Challenge day!  Yep, it's the last Wednesday of the month (where did September go?!) and so it's time for the Go-to Gals to play!

This month... we're featuring Winnie & Walter
Winnie & Walter is a relatively new company - but check out these designs.

I could keep going but I'd eventually list every stamp in their store... Wowzers, I can tell you I use their stamps a ton these days!

Like I did to make this card...
To make this card, I stamped a sentiment from The Big, the Bold and the Happy and an add-on sentiment from The Big, the Bold and you.  The flowers are from The Write Stuff: Leave it to Mom.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to check out what the other Go-to Gals came up with - you know it's going to be fabulous!

Season's Greetings

Hello!  I am sharing this card on the Avery Elle blog today.
It uses the new Avery Elle Season's Greeting Die and the new Noel snowflakes dies for the focal point of the card.  Notice the die cut strip along the bottom in white?  That's just using part of the Finished Frames dies.  I also stamped trees in the background in Silver Fox using Let it Snow.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Alice

Hello Thursday!  Hooray!
I've been on travel for work this week so this is a short post for me today.
This card uses the new Alice & Friends stamp set and dies along with the new Everyday Collection 6x6 paper pad.  Eek, I love how many great patterns are in this pad!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

A little sneak :)

So this is sorta really fun...  A while back I was invited to play in the Simon Says Stamp festivities for their STAMPtember® event and share an Avery Elle project on their blog.  Of course I accepted.  I mean, it's Simon Says Stamp!!!
Here's a sneak for what's over on the SSS blog today.  I hope you'll pop over and check it out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Blog Hop

Hooray!  I'm so excited because it's finally release day!  Stick with me because this is going to be quite the post...  I'm also going to be sharing my projects from Tuesday again because... well... I love them that much. :)

You should have arrived here from the fabulous Caryn Davies' blog.  Next you'll head to JJ Bolton's blog.  The entire hop list is included at the end of this post for you.
First there was Storybook.  Meet More Stories.

The concept is still the same - little animals all looking up.  I tried not to duplicate anything that was in Storybook because I wanted it to work well independently but also be a fantastic add on set too!

I love this hedgehog so much, so I really wanted to play around with it for the hop.

And the penguin, eek!

Here's the card I shared on Tuesday.  I love the seasonal accents which I didn't have space for in Storybook.

I really had fun drawing so I kept going... Meet Be Jolly!

This little snowman I had intended to fit in More Stories but decided to pull it out because it just didn't fit with the theme.  I love him as a stand alone mini!  I didn't get around to making another sample with him - but eek, he's cute.

I love a great floral set and had a few ideas for a set so I kept drawing.  Yes, this is another hand drawn set. :) Meet Fabulous Florals

I drew this set to have a ton of possibilities.  There's open and solid images and almost every stamp has a two-step stamp possibility but most are interchangeable.

To create this card, I stamped all the flowers on a layer to cluster around the bottom of the card.

Here's my sample from Tuesday.
Here I used just about every solid stamp in the set.  I can't pick out my favorite flower but I can tell you I love love love the two buds (in pink and blue in the card I did!).  To stamp these, I stamp the green part first, die cut it and then stamp the lighter color bud to finish it.

I added clear Wink of Stella glitter and white gel pen accents to most of the flowers to embellish them a little.

Don't forget about The Everyday Collection 6x6 paper pad.  It's amazing.

This is still a basic paper pad so it fits very well with the Sorbet and the Brights collections but this is bright and cheery and full of possibilities!

Heather Campbell <-- You are here.

Meet More Stories, Be Jolly and Fabulous Florals.

Hello hello!  It's been a little quiet around here but I promise I've been busy behind the scenes. :)  Today, Jamie is introducing THREE new Avery Elle sets that I drew!  Yay!

Back in April, Avery Elle released a set I drew called Storybook. I love Storybook so much but I really felt like I needed more... so meet More Stories.

The concept is still the same - little animals all looking up.  The More Stories animals are a penguin, another bunny (because they're just darn cute!), a fox and a hedgehog!  There's lots for them to look up at too - a kite, dragonflies, leaves, snowflakes, flowers, a moon and stars.  There's also a lot more to put around them too - flowers and even a little toadstool!   I tried not to duplicate anything that was in Storybook because I wanted it to work well independently too!

I really had fun drawing so I kept going... Meet Be Jolly!

So there's one more thing that I have up my sleeve and this has been in the works for a long time!  Meet The Everyday Collection 6x6 paper pad.

This is still a basic paper pad so it fits very well with the Sorbet and the Brights collections but this is bright and cheery and full of possibilities!

Everything releases this Thursday, September 4th but here's a hint - Jamie usually loads it into the Avery Elle store a little early on Wednesday night. :)

Thanks for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me.  Have a great day!
