Avery Elle April Release Blog Hop

First, thank you for everyone's sweet comments yesterday!  Taking on the role of a Paper Crafts Magazine Go-to Gal is an absolute dream come true!  In case you missed the announcement, you can find it here.  For a chance to win Avery Elle's Petals & Stems, leave a comment here!

Now, let's get to the hop!

For the hop, I got to play with Bonjour.

How cute are those macaroons?   When I saw this set, I knew immediately that I wanted to create a nice little treat bag to deliver some tasty macaroons!
To create this treat bag, I die cut the macaroons using the new dies *YAY!* from Pixie cardstock and stamped on them in pink and black.
That grosgrain ribbon is the Raspberry color from Avery Elle.  I love this ribbon!

I don't typically post a ton of non-card projects on my blog but I create a ton of them.  I love to create favors and gift wraps and treat holders.  I'll try to do better at posting more non-card projects around here! :)

Now get hoppin'!!!

I'm a Go-to Gal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone pinch me!

Today is the day that I can finally share with the world that I have been selected to represent Paper Crafts Magazine as a Go-to Gal!  Here's the official announcement over at Paper Crafts Connection!

Insert squeals, screaming, jumping up and down.  Any super excited emotion you can think of, I probably had it!!!  OH. EM. GEE!!!!

I've started this blog post what feels like a million times and each time I've had to walk away because I am still completely speechless.  Again, someone please pinch me!

Just to be considered as a potential Go-to Gal was such an honor!  Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would ever happen.  There are so many talented ladies in the paper crafting world so I really just lived for the moment and had fun with it.

There are moments in your life you know you'll never forget and getting that phone call and the emotions shortly after definitely fall into that category for me.  Eek!  I still get shivers just thinking about it!

To say I'm excited is an understatement! I'm bursting at the seems with anticipation for everything that is to come and want to extend the biggest thank you for the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported me along the way and to the team at Paper Crafts for selecting me!

Congratulations to  veteran Go-to Gals Betsey Veldman, Kim Kesti and Teri Anderson and to my fellow rookie Go-to Gals Laura Williams & Kimberly Crawford.  I am so honored and humbled to be in the company of such crafting greatness!  I look forward to finally meeting you all.  Let the fun begin! :)

So, with all of that said, I thought I'd share a card. :) Hopefully you're still with me!
This card uses the newest Avery Elle release, Petals & Stems, and to celebrate this special day, I have an Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set to give away!

Thank you Jamie, owner of Avery Elle, for sending me a giveaway without knowing what it's for! (I told you it would be worth it!)  Just comment to enter, you can subscribe to my blog or follow me if you want- although it's not required to be eligible to enter.  I'll pick a winning comment on Monday, April 1st.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my exciting news with me!
XOXO!

Avery Elle - All Squared Up

Happy Thursday friends!  Hope your week is going well!

The next few weeks/weekends will be very busy for me.  I'm hosting a bridal shower this weekend for one of my best work friends so I've been very busy with that, getting everything ready!  I must say my Silhouette has come in very handy!  I'll be sure to post pictures of everything on my blog next week!

Then it's Easter followed by my daugther Molly's 3rd birthday and a Hello Kitty themed party!  YAY!  There's a few other fun things I'll be squeezing in there too! :) Stay tuned! :)

Anyways, enough about that, let's get to the card!

It's my turn to share my Avery Elle card featuring All Squared Up

This set is so cool.
I LOVE THAT BORDER.  I'm a huge border stamp fan anyways but I dig these sideways squares.  A LOT!

Avery Elle Celebrate

Happy Thursday friends!
I'm up today on the Avery Elle blog sharing by card featuring the new stamp set Celebrate!
Here's the set - incase you've been under a rock and missed it!  :)
I have used that stripe on a few cards but wanted to do something with just the sentiments and accents.  I'm a huge pattern paper person so I like sentiments that can hold their own against a fun paper.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Roll With It

Hello, Hello!
Popping in so I can share my latest Avery Elle card, featuring the new set Roll With It
I love all the additions to this set: the basket, the flowers, the streamers - totally lets you do so many different things with it.  The stripe along the bottom of the banner is from Celebrate. I can tell you'll I will be using this stripe a LOT!

That's all for now!

Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!
