Shower Congrats

Hi All!

Just popping in to share a card that I created for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge CFC12.
This is my first time entering this challenge but I do have a thing for Rub-ons, so I had to participate!

Here's what I created!  A super CAS shower card.  The pink works for bridal or baby and the sentiment is a rub-on by Pebbles.

Thanks for stopping by!

Perty & Flirty

I don't have time for many words here- I've got kids to put to bed and the Tuesday Trigger deadline over at Moxie Fab World is quickly approaching!

Here's the Trigger: Perty & Flirty.

I  kept the floral background and drew most of my inspiration from the fantastic coat.  I WANT IT!
Anyways, I die-cut the paper to create texture and added the focal image of the rain boots.

Boots + Jacket= Seattle.

Added some rhinestones to the boots for pizazz!
Then, I topped it off with a cute sentiment- great for a missing you card...

Thanks for stopping by!

Scooter Farewell

One of my coworkers is starting a new job, long story short: not by choice, but as result of  business needs demand her skills elsewhere.  Needless to say, she's not thrilled that she has to change jobs and her good-bye party is tomorrow!

I looked through all of my stamps and after much deliberation, I decided to start with the Paper Smooches sentiment "just roll with it" from Spiffy Scooters.  One of the many, many reasons why I love Paper Smooches is because the sentiments are so unique and genuine!  I love how they tie the images in with the card too!

I paired the scooter with some yummy paper and a whole lot of paper piecing :)

I also used one of the July Design Drafts sketches for the Paper Smooches sparks challenge.
Details for the July Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge can be found HERE!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Bundled Baby

I don't know what it is with me and baby cards but I love making baby cards.  I also realized, to my surprise, I almost never make girl baby cards.  WHAT?  I love pink. I'm obsessed with pink.  I was shocked when I had this realization.  Needless to say, I've been growing my stash of girl baby cards ever since!

I've been wanting to make a baby all swaddled up cozy using my Paper Smooches Giddy Bugs for sometime now.

I just simply cut off the wings and antenna and used the single antenna to create some hair on this little babe's head.  The heart (from PS Falling for You) is suppose to be like the pin holding the swaddle together- although I laugh because I have never used a pin on a swaddle blanket for any of my kids... Not sure what I was thinking there...  Oh well, it looks cute!

The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Word Up.  Whenever I use Paper Smooches I'm so impressed with how versatile they are!  The possibilities are just endless!

You Mooove Me

When I saw the Lawn Fawn Critters on the Farm set, I about fell out of my chair.  Eek!  Could it be any cuter?  Pretty sure the answer is no.

Anyways, I love how this card turned out!  The button (don't you just LOVE it!) is by Jane.

It's also my favorite Paper Crafts reject for the Jan/Feb 2012 call.  Luckily, I did have one card accepted!  Accepted or not, it was fun to challenge myself and create- and that's what really matters, right?

Happy July and thanks for stopping by!
